Design and build internally developed .NET applications that will support our retirement plan business. Contribute to the definition, design and development of new systems/applications across all tiers (database to web).

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Software Design and Development:

• Adhere to company standards for technical design, development, and documentation.

• Assist in establishing a framework to support future development initiatives.

• Follow standards for performance and load/stress testing

• Effectively communicate application designs orally and in written format with end users, management, and developers

• Work closely with Quality Assurance team to ensure the reduction of required testing durations

Required Qualifications • 4 + years professional experience developing complex, n-tier applications

• 3 + years designing and implementing .NET 3.0 solutions or later.

OR

• 3 + years experience defining, designing and implementing database solutions utilizing SQL Server 2005 and 2008

• Strong knowledge of OOD and SOA design principles

• Good understanding of systems development methodology best practices. Must be able to analyze user needs and design effective systems

• Experience with web services, SOAP or related technologies

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team
