what happened to the movement between 1969 and 2000? Even in 200 years of independence struggle there were only 10 or 15 particular years the movement was strong, then what happened in another 180 years? So you think people did not want independence in those years? Same is here.. 400 students died in the agitation in 1969, the leaders who lead the movement left the movement and jumped into congress.. they supressed the movement to satisfy their needs.. after that governments promised packages for telangana.. like 610, irrigation projects, colleges, etc.. people would be happy if they got their share.. but the promises were never fulfilled.. the andhra leaders after that made telangana desert exploting it in all the ways they can.. that is the reason telangana people have raised their voices again.. and this time they do want any promises or writings.. no more foolishness or exploitation.. only separate state..
