my frnd went to India jus 2 months ago, he's in OPT and returned safely..... it depends on ur luck mama....so never knows

I had job now but i am tensed seeing the situation of the H1b guys who went to india. Every one is facing queries and so i am thinking now to go to india on OPT . Please suggest me what documents should i take with me if i go to india

yes you can no problem..........lot of my friends traveled...........but don't take risk if your opt card is about to expire or if you have applied for extension(Pending case) cheers12w

there woudn't be & shoudn't be any prob wtsoever.....i went to india on OPT & stayed ther for abt 2 months ........

an offer letter frm the consulting firm & a new I-20 frm the univ that is all u need.....

I just got my opt recently and one more question .

How many months  i can be on OPT with out running payroll . My opt started in October and i am not running payroll untill now.

I am taking cash from my employer . Can anyone suggest how long can i do it?

And what are the chances of getting my opt extended?
