Description:  A growing electronic trading company is seeking a Core Java Developer / multi-threading / SQL with financial experience. Over the past eight years, the company's development team has built the leading corporate bond e-trading platform. This is an opportunity is for an enthusiastic Software Engineer to join the development team as a Senior-level Developer working on core trading system.

Requirements:  The skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following:

7+ years of enterprise software development experience

Excellent core Java skills

Enterprise RDBMS (Oracle and/or Sybase)

Experience with high-speed, high-volume transactional systems

Good understanding of Object-Oriented design patterns

Extensive experience in multi-threaded programming

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Organizational and problem resolution skills

The profile of a team-player who forms strong relationships with colleagues and has good interpersonal skills

Ability to deal with changing priorities

Preferred:

JMS and JDBC technical skills

Financial services experience and solid understanding of securities trading
