Politicians across all party lines created an illusion that a separate state is going to solve all Telangana problems. Those are the same politicians who were and are the members of Assembly and parliament. No one threatened to resign or raised their voice strongly in parliament (congress MPs and MLAs in particular) or in assembly that they were not given their due in funds allocation. The very birth of the TRS is based on un employed politicians and wannabe CMs. In this modern world, where even the borders among the countries are perishing..its really disgusting to provoke people and driving them through irrational regionalism. These are the same politicians who are going to rule if a separate state was to be formed. There wont be a drastic change in governance . I think the good solution would be to make sure the 610 GO is implemented both in letter and spirit. Make sure the people from telangana gets majority of government positions in Telangana region. empowering the local bodies such as panchayats,municipalities etc. If people feel that they are humiliated and if their self respect is at stake....instead of taking the agitations and vandalism into consideration.. central govt should appoint a permanent committee like SRC which conducts scientific study by taking certain parameters and check the viability as if the state can be formed.
