Ongole Becomes Capital Of Andhra

There has been a big discussion from many years with respect to the probable capital city of separate Andhra state if formed.

Many have bought lands in and around Vizag, Vijayawada and Guntur. The assumptions are strong that Vijayawada will be capital for sure as Guntur joins to it and become the largest twin cities. Some said that Vizag will be ideal as it’s already developed both industrially and aesthetically.

But wiping out all the assumptions, the news from Delhi leaks out that Ongole is going to be the capital as there are more government lands in thousands of acres. It becomes difficult for government to acquire lands from private bodies if the capital were Vijaywada or Vizag.

Apart from this Ongole is a common point for both Rayalaseema and Coastal belt. That’s the new twist now.
