veerudu
It is with heavy heart and overpowering emotions, that we prepare to bid fare well to our beloved friend – Satya Subhakar Chinta, who had met with a tragic accident at a stage in life, where he has everything to look forward to. All most all the members of the student body at Oklahoma City University, who have known him, would recall fond memories associated with him. Most of us would relate to the experience of setting out on a journey, far away from home in search of a better future, working hard day in and day out, struggling to pay tuition and make ends meet. Finally when we make it to the day of graduation or the first day of a job, we are overwhelmed with a sense of accomplishment and joy, knowing that we can take care of our family and give them everything that they have aspired for over the years and more importantly, provide them with a sense of security for the rest of their lives and be a reason for them to rejoice. Satya has been there and seen that. Even before he could relish these moments, fate has taken him away from his sojourn land to the distant worlds. He is survived by his mother and two sisters. We can, in no concrete terms fathom the pain and grief they might be going through, nor can we bring him back for them. But, we surely can contribute our might in helping him reach his family for the last rites. There would be no greater injustice to his family, if they do not get to see him one last time and bid farewell. We created a fund to solicit contributions for the much needed money for the repatriation of his body. This is the least we could offer to do justice to his memory and pay our respects. Please join us in this noble cause that will help his soul rest in peace and provide the much-needed closure to his family.
