srdh21 Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 To Avoid VAT, I will first buy the Laptop here and then ship it by Fedex VAT comes to a big amount, so the idea of sending Laptop from USA to UK is useless as you can get it for much cheaper there itself VAT comes to around 14-15% min, so 1000 dollar laptop wud end up paying 75$ for shipping + 150-200 toowards VAT, 30-40$ for Insurance
