Jr. NTR has given Rs.1 lakh to the parents of his die hard fan, who had died in a mishap, S.Prasad was trying to get a few tickets for the Jr. NTR's film 'Kantri' on the first day of the movie's release when the accident that resulted in his death occurred.
The sad event occurred at Tadipatri village in Ananthapoor district.
The family of S.Prasad also received Rs.1 lakh from the chief of Vaishnavi Arts, Mr. Vallabhaneni Vamshi Mohan, who is the producer of 'Kranti'. He produces the movie with Vinayak and is presented b Kodali Nani.
The fans club of NTR also gave 1 lakh to the family of S.Prasad.

[size="2"]The release of the NTR starrer Kantri resulted in the loss of life of a poor fan. There was a mad rush for tickets at a theatre in Tadipathri. Prasad, a fan of NTR was eager to grab a ticket but fell down and he was caught in the stampede. He died on the spot.

NTR was visibly moved after learning about the unfortunate incident. He immediately assured of financial help to the family of Prasad. Producer Ashwini Dutt also expressed his regret at the unfortunate incident and announced an ex-gratia of one lakh rupees to the family members of the deceased. NTR also made an appeal to all his fans not to risk their lives in order to grab a ticket. [/size]
