There Is Hope Still For The Broken And The Lonely,

There is hope still for the broken and the lonely,
Ravaged with grief,
For the frantic wails of an orphaned child,
For the sobbing widow of a brave soldier,
For the husband of thirty years who lost his wife.

There is hope still for the old couple,
Performing the last rites, Of a son,
For siblings lost, to be found again, in bloodied parts.

Hope comes cheap, For the dead in a casket,
It's the living who seethe with resentment,
The candle procession is but a day's event,
The flame lit to make their peace,
To mourn the loss of countless bodies,
Amidst an air of questions and accusations,
Counter statements and worthless resignations.

Then where is hope hiding?
Why is it not marching forward to exact blood,
Blood of a cowardly religion called, Terrorism.

When you see someone in a uniform,
Someone who serves us all,
Doing military duty,
Answering their country’s call,
Take a moment to thank them
For protecting what you hold dear;
Tell them you are proud of them;
Make it very clear.
Just tap them on the shoulder,
Give a smile, and say,
"Thanks for what you’re doing
To keep us & INDIA safe.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain...

don't forget that i continue to serve my country..
o death!! u cant take me..
