Hi Every body,

gandhi and his team were the last to demand complete independence to india and they did at a juncture where they had no other choice; extremist leaders who were demanding for freedom of india were gaining following and popularity and gandhi had no other choice than demanding complete freedom to retain his popularity and following.

here is the video

the point from this work:

gandhi was perfectly fine with situation in india - india under british rule.

when he was discriminated( kicked out of the train for demanding equal treatment with europeans) then only he felt something is wrong.

bottom-line gandhi had no problem with india under british rule but, later he fought. when you dont have any problem with some thing why you will fight?

thats what gandhi did , he gave an impression that he was fighting against british rule but he did not fight against british rule.

i hope my later works will throw light on this further.

thanks

probably what u said might be right bro ........ gandhi might be great in character but i read in many books that he is selfish .....................and it's a pact between India and Britain that led to independence for our country regaridng the second world war if our soldiers fought for the British this is really true and many people might not believe this but the real independence came to our country only by violence and non-violence is a trash which led to the delay of our independence ..........gandhi is great but there are many leaders who were greater than gandhi and haven't been in limelight

as you said I will not give complete credit to Gandhi, but he was the leader who brought the people united under one roof to fight for independence

And it was Tilak who floated the Idea of total independence .......Complete freedom

Hi,
gandhi being thrown out of train is universal truth or atleast it is present in his autobiography.
1.further from his autobiography:
the next time also he struggles a lot to get first class ticket. he goes to the station master and shows himself to let him know that he was a well dressed(westernised) but not a regular one. the stn master issues ticket on the word from gandhi that if asked he will move to third class with out any fuss.
forget about talking about freedom of india he writes that he loved the british empire.
gandhi's fathers were ministers to the local kings; if we read the autobio of gandhi it is present in the first page first chapter.

2.this is nt form autobio, but history:
around 1925-27 gandhi & team(nehru etc..) demanded for complete freedom after chandra skehar azad etc... started militant fight and they started becoming heroes...
inorder to not to let the freedom struggle slip out of his hands they finally demanded independence.

3.this is not from history books but rather my own reasoning/assumption based on historical facts:
british strengthened feudal system --
if feudal system is intact they need to control only the kings or the feudal lords.. , controlling the masses is the headache for the feudal lords. so intact feudal system and cast divisions were of more of advantage to british, it makes their exploitation and ruling easier. the rich feudal lords will lose more if they fight aginst british etc... for ex: the kings who were very loyal to british like (nizam) were entertained ( nizam was the world's most richest person that time - it is nt exaggeration, its a historical fact) and we all know how much exploited telangana was under the feudal system.
if we take our history there were no incidences of caste bitterness for ages . we had sages from the sc/st; kings from backward castes etc... i dont want to go details but, bottom line caste bitterness and divisions were most prominent after the british rule...

hi
infact we got independence not even with the 2nd world war role ( gandhi and co convinced that if we help british in second world war we will get freedom)..., they gave us independence only when they were completely weakened( with 2nd world war) and the effort required to rule india( that is becoming more unrestive with the freedom struggle getting intensified and even violent) was more than returns from the india which had already become one of the poorest nations in the world under the rule of british. infact we had not won freedom, we were given freedom . thats why our freedom came with english terms not indian terms.

who said gandhi is the only leader.. fought for india Independence... lyk all he fought for it... but in a non violent way

he actually visualized different ways to fight.... and choose non violent path... as rest of the paths looked terrible losing ppl

every one at that time believed gandhis ability to gain independence and followed him....

stop degrading gandhi now.. u get nothing...
