Murari Posted October 22, 2011 Author Report Posted October 22, 2011 [b] Pooja Mavilla Recovery updates.[/b] [b]Good news[/b] [b]October 21st, 2011[/b] Yesterday, we finally heard that the hospital, insurance and a rehab in Ludlow, MA came to an agreement and transferred Pooja to the Rehab. Yesterday and today the therapists did tests to check her muscle strength. We are awaiting the results to see how she is doing. The Rehab agreed to provide therapy for the next two weeks along with nursing. She is now staying in the facility. Family is staying nearby hotel. She is working hard to get back to normal as soon as possible. thank you one and all for your wishes. Get well soon Pooja!

Murari Posted October 25, 2011 Author Report Posted October 25, 2011 [b]Therapy Progress[/b] [b]October 23th, 2011[/b] Since Saturday, pooja started acute physical therapy. The therapists put her on medicines to help relax the muscles in the body. She has a busy schedule during the day. She is undergoing occupational, physical and speech therapy. She is showing good improvement in walking. She walked about 2 steps on the first day with the help of the therapist and table support. She was able to walk about 28 and 86 steps in the next two days. This is quite encouraging to see the progress. Thank you guys!!
