No Boozing, If Telangana Comes

There would be complete prohibition in the Telangana, if it is carved out of Andhra Pradesh as a separate state.
This was indicated by Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi president Manda Krishna Madiga.
“We are committed to implementation of prohibition in the Telangana state. The MRPS would take up a campaign to educate the people about the ill-effects of liquor consumption. We also enlighten them against participation in liquor outlet auctions,” Manda Krishna told the media on Wednesday.
Reacting to the one-day bandh being observed by the Telangana wine dealers association, the MRPS leader said it would not affect the common people in any way.
“We don’t have any problem with the bandh.[size=6] The problem is for the regular boozers,” he said, making an indirect dig at Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao.[/size]
