Steelers Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 [color=#000000] [b]Meerut:[/b] An attempt to attack Team Anna in Meerut was foiled on Friday after the police detained four people including Satitanand Saraswati, President of Akhand Hindustan Morcha.[/color] [color=#000000] [/color] [color=#000000] Saraswati along with his supporters was arrested from the Gymkhana Grounds in Meerut where a programme of Team Anna is scheduled. This is the same group that had attacked Team Anna at Patiala House Court in New Delhi on October 13, just a day after Anna Hazare's close associate was brutally beaten up inside his Supreme Court chamber for his controversial remarks on plebiscite in Kashmir Valley to decide its future.[/color] [color=#000000] Hindustan Morcha and Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena workers had attacked five supporters of Anna Hazare outside the court. The Anna supporters were registering their protest against the assault on Bhushan when they were attacked.[/color] [color=#000000] Arvind Kejriwal, another key aide of Hazare, was targeted at a public meeting in Lucknow on October 18 when a man tried to throw a shoe at him.
