Tabloid Annoys Ram Gopal Varma; Director Denies 'department' Trouble

A tabloid stepped on filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's wrong side today, when they reported that his film's main lead Sanjay Dutt doesn't have time for his movie.

According to the publication, a few scenes shot for Ramu's forthcoming project Department had to be re-shot and an upset Dutt refused to re-shoot the portion again. They further reported that this whole incident angered RGV and he sacked cinematographer, Sapan Narula for this folly.

An irked Varma blasted the tabloid on Twitter, for spreading false rumours about him and his team. He wrote, "Report in midday is complete hogwash on sanjay dutt not having time..in fact me nd sanjay are waiting fr ranas time who had a prior cmtmnt."

Moreover, he also praised Sanjay for his dedication towards the film, writing, "Sanjay is going out of his way to shoot fr department inspite of an injury on his hand so as to accomodate a certain actors date combination."

He also rubbished the news about him sacking Sapan.

"Nd the report on the cinematographers screw up is anthr hogwash cos Department is being shot without a Dop nd wth a cmpltly new technology," he further added.

"Nd my advice to tht dumb nitwit journo of midday is to atleast ask me or sanjay or sapan fr whatvr we hav to say b4 wrtng," the filmmaker concluded.

No one gets away by messing with Ramu's Department.
