Though no one is expecting an announcement now because the “Sakala Janula Samme” has fizzled out, Renuka made a surprise prediction in Khammam on Tuesday. “Some decision will be announced before November 1,” she said. Renuka, who is one of the spokespersons of the AICC, said that the party high command wanted to take a final decision on the raging issue only in a atmosphere free from tension and violence. She said it was very heartening that the employees and workers of Telangana region had withdrawn their strike following an appeal by the AICC General Secretary in-charge of Andhra Pradesh and Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad. Renuka asserted that she was personally in favour of separate Telangana state as she belongs to Khammam district.
