7 Th Sense Late But Latest Review

[size=4]I wrote a clear synopsis of the story for 3 pages in this post but unfortunately I hit my backspace too many times so I have lost the entire work but below is the summary of the movie... I will give the entire review again tommorow if i get some time in office..[/size]


[size=4][font=Arial]WHatever be the concept , no matter how dumb it is , hollywood vallu pakka screnn play and plot tho 2 hours mana attention grab cheyagalaru!... but tamil telugu lo ..concept bagunna ...story line bagopothe ... ..cinema entha chettaga untundhi ani cheppataniki manchi movie example 7 th sense...[/font][/size]

[size=4][font=Arial]Story starts with a great epic drama of Bodhidharma which took place some 1600 years ago with good narration in the background. Bodhidharma was a great buddhist Monk who once lived in south India travelled as far as he can in Asia for the noble cause of curing epidemic disease while sharing the great knowledge of Art he had fathered in "t[b]he Shaolin[/b]” … Surya did immensely great in the role of Bodhidharma... only drawback was the supporting roles from Chinese actors was not up to the standard. Those actors just appeared unorthodox & off the streets in the class of acting …. except that plot goes around some wonder full scenic locations in china. I just wished in the end if the entire movie was run atleast loosely on the biography of Bodhidharma... The first episode of movie ends with the death of Bodhidharma who is buried in the same soil where he taught Shaolin and modern Medicin and his lost popularity in India where his legacy still continues in certain parts of south-East Asia. And regarding to the plot it is what it is mentioned in this wiki page. [size=4][color=#000000][font=Arial]Second episode is where the present takes place. Surya comes in to the frame as young Circus performer. Heroin Shruthi Hassan introduction comes in as a medical student with back -ground as Bio genetic engineering in search of some subject monkey from BOmaby Circus wala... (her appearance was interesting for me, she had worn ear ring symbol of U.S Super market chain Target ).[/font][/color][/size]

[size=4][color=#000000][font=Arial]Now her brief encounter with hero surya at the circus base makes him fall in love with her..and to follow her over brief time.... (Some scenes during this plot appeared like from old classic Kamals movie vichitra sahodarlu ), but plot turns interesting when it is found that infact it was sudha (shruthi hassan) who made a disguised attempt to get hold of Surya.. and the time suspense behind why shruthi chases him brings the introduction of Bodhidharma's base back in to the plot but at the very expense of two boring songs .. (tunes looks OK , only problem is google translation of tamil lyrics in to telugu .. too much use of technology it seems ) [/font][/color][/size]

[size=4][color=#000000][font=Arial]In mean while as plot develops here in INdia .. far away in Shanghai , Chinese are all set for a secrete disruptive mission to bring disorder in India to make India surrender by a secrete mission called operation RED with a team of just one highly skilled shaolin student , whoose motive is to spread deadly virus through a street Dog as parasite host. [/font][/color][/size]

[size=4][color=#000000][font=Arial]First half ends with Dang Lee landing in India and killing almost who ever you see on screen while shruthi hassan and surya getting united for a cause of shruthi's aim to reactivate B hodhidharma and to chase to curb the mission by Dang lee.[/font][/color][/size]

[size=4][color=#000000][font=Arial]There is time count of number of days drop like in English tv drama 24 and dasavatharam movie..... ending first half[/font][/color][/size]

[size=4][color=#000000][font=Arial]Second half is nothing but a big combo of Universal solder + Matrix + Zombie Apocalypse + Outbreak ( Dustin Hoffman movie). Long boring songs but with good presence of shruthi hasan is little relief for the audience and few comments on IT people who travel abroad for better jobs.... [/font][/color][/size]
[size=4][color=#000000][font=Arial]The story runs on with few chases and zombie wars and ultimately ending up in small under cover mission to resequence DNA of surya by shruthi to make him bring the lost intelligence of Bodhidharma..... and will this mission goes success or not ? what challenges they face in the end ? well no need to watch them on big screen .. they are just few exchange of blows under flying maple leaves that too in Chennai IIT ??? ends up with the fall of villain in the fight... and a TV - press conference with few more lectures again on lost civilization and brain drain of creamy Indians to abroad..... (Nuvvu cinema songs ni abroad lo enduku teesthav.. when there are beautiful scenic locations in india ?? distributors CINEMA reels ekkuva dabbulu tho konnaru ani kada ?? )[/font][/color][/size]

[size=4][color=#000000][font=Arial]Its little off the base logic when it founds out that such a big mission to dismantle order and peace in India .. Chinese communicate this entire mission with a conman who is a Tamil professor in INdia by sheer gmail via regulare text mails.!![/font][/color][/size]

[size=4][color=#000000][font=Arial]Dang Lee (villian) can hypnotise and influence any one except Hero Surya.... but his mission is to kill shruthi... who he never tries to hypnotise to kill herself..... !!![/font][/color][/size]

[size=4][color=#000000][font=Arial]Sloppy graphics (the graphics are like from some cheap mobile/cell-phone video game)... cars and auto rickshaws pop in to the air like pop corn in the back ground , when the action is happening in the foreground of no reason!![/font][/color][/size]

Why there is need to mention North India south India ???? Can they just say other major cities in India have spread with virus... why does Chennai audience need to build south and North feeling ...which is already deep in the viens of the people from the North.


[font=Arial][color=#000000][b]Final remarks[/b].... this movie could have been great if the story teller could have stuffed something interesting except for boring songs and lengthy[/color][/font] delay in bringing the Bodhidharma concept back in to the movie... it could have been much better might be if movie was for 2 hour 15 min ..... a lot of things need to be removed in edit part by editor Antony ;which just took the patience out of audience...

anyways there is no compromise in budget have been made since it produced by grand son of X CM of TNadu Karunandhi! but still flavor of entertainment is missing in the movie .. making it a big thud and disappointing
