Jambhalheart Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 New Delhi: Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday made a scathing attack on the BSP government in Uttar Pradesh for failing to provide basic amenities to people living in the state. The Congress leader, who is touring Bhadohi district, expressed his anger on the pathetic living condition of carpet weavers residing in the area. “There is acute shortage of water and power supply here, the condition of living is pathetic, I don’t know how you (people) live in such circumstances. I get angry when I come to UP,” Rahul said while interacting with local carpet weavers. The young Congress leader targeted the BSP government of the state and said that it is not implementing the central government schemes in the state because of which people are deprived of many essential facilities. Rahul, however, promised the people there that UPA will soon bring an effective Lokpal bill. He requested people to vote for his party in the upcoming Assembly Election in Uttar Pradesh. Interestingly, the local district administration was not informed about his visit and it was a surprise for them
