ROUDRAM Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 Doda, Nov 6: While special divers from Indian Navy joined the river search operations on Sunday, two more bodies were recovered from Chenab near Thatri township, where a mini-bus plunged into the river on Saturday. In the accident at least 25 persons were feared dead. [color=#121212][font=Arial,] Though officials said that the total number of passengers on board was still unknown, with the recovery of two more bodies the death toll mounted to five. [/font][/color] [color=#121212][font=Arial,] Sources said that special team of navy divers reached Doda township this morning, and was taken to the accident site. But the hours of salvage operations in strong currents of the river appeared futile as the rescuers even could not locate the minibus under several hundred feet of water in and around the accident scene.[/font][/color] [color=#121212][font=Arial,] [/font][/color]
