well...from what i know...it is actually...rama linga raju's son's greed..that brought doom to the former. RLR's son...got into this real estate ventures in and around HYD. The rates were very inflated. due to the real estate collapse, the worth of these assets went down. Although these were the prime investments of MYTAS...they were shown as affiliated assets and investments of SATYAM from the profits it garnered. In order to stand top in the shares rankings, any company needs to first build trust amongst its customer base and next its profits should be stable and improving steadily. SATYAM..as a S/W company was profitable. No doubt about it. However, it had to incur so many overhead expenses in terms of the free 108 services that it had to offer to YSR govt as a return of favor it got in getting the lands for MYTAS. RLR took responsibility on the behalf of his family and firm..and bowed to the law. He could have tried escaping by putting his accountants or CFO etc in line or by atleast compromising with YSR and agreeing to his terms regarding providing support to his govt..financially.

during CBN's govt..RLR was close to CBN. but RLR's son..got closer to YSR govt and affiliates..but little did he know..he was shaving his head with an axe...GREED got their doom.. Overall this fraud boils down to ACCOUNTING FRAUD and 420- deception , public fraud, cheating etc...

nenu news la chusa baa.. i got the matter.. but naa main point enti ante asalu company anedi vaadi own money tho run ayudda or peoples shares tho na?? ippudu manam share market lo oka particualr company meda invest chesinappudu aa money ni company use chesukovachaa leka adi asalu company vaadiki sambandham vundadaaa??? if not then where this money circulates??? how the shares got down??? and how the company shares rate increases with company proftis??? company profits means wt?? yes shares rate increases with companies performance in market. it is usually people;s belief in a brand that builds its reputation and hikes the share price.

Yes. Profits ante...nuvvu cheppinavanni cut chesaake. apart from this..company will invest in related departments..the share holders will get dividends as profits on a periodic basis.
