2nd Src: T Leaders Oppose- Andhra Leaders Welcom It

Hyderabad, Nov 9: In a quick response to the statement of the Congress senior leaders Digvijay Singh and Rashid Alvi, the Telangana leaders irrespective of parties pooh poohed it, while the Seemandhra leaders have welcomed the same.

TRS senior leader T Harish Rao, speaking to the media, alleged that the Congress party is once again getting ready to deceive the people of Telangana in the name of Second SRC. He said that the Telangana people would not accept the ruling party’s proposal of setting up of a Second SRC.

Lashing out at the statement, the TTDP senior leader Mothkupally Narsimhulu said that his party will not accept the Second SRC proposal at any cost. He said that the Congress party has shown its real intentions by making the statement today.

Telangana Congress MP Manda Jagannatham said that Digvijay Singh’s Second SRC talk would not be applicable to the demand of separate Telangana. He said that Digvijay Singh made the statement keeping in view the Uttar Pradesh state and Mayawathi’s plea for creation of four States.

Seemandhra TDP senior leader Payyavula Keshav welcomed the AICC spokesperson Rashid Alvi’s statement of setting up of a Special Commission to go into the issue of creation of smaller state.
