Hi, I would like to know is OPT travel signature good for one year or six months....i have signature on page 3 as 06/08/2011 and i am planning to travel on nov 17 and come back on dec 16th 2011. Please help me

I travellled twice on my OPTxtns .. so for sure its 6 months only .. it can be 3 months also..... in some cases.. Also try to talk to the OISS before you plan you travel outside the country and validate from teh OISS Designated School Official, so that they will know you are travelling during this peroiod out of the country..

I toook Signatures on I-20 twice.. as they told me that I am coming back after the 6 months period on date of signature on my I-20 .. all the best dude.. make sure you get the word from the DSO , not someone else..

PMR aka OM...i have one more doubt ..nenu oka consultancy nunchi employment offer letter teeskunna...so is that enough??? please advise me as you have travlled on OPT u know
