Karnataka rights of ‘Namo Venkatesa’ sold for Rs.1.20 crores!

Venkatesh, Trisha starrer ‘Namo Venkatesa’ is the duo’s second film after ‘Adavari Matalaku Ardhale Veerule’. ‘Namo Venkatesa’ is being directed by Srinu Vytla. This is first time Venkatesh and Srinu Vytla are working together. The film had completed its talkie part and currently a song is being shot. The distribution rights of this film are being sold at a good price across all territories. And the good news is that all these quoted prices are a record in Venkatesh’s career. The distribution rights for Karnataka were sold for Rs 1.20 crores. Telugu films have a good market in Karnataka and ‘Magadheera’ was a great success in Karnataka. Now, hopes on ‘Namo Venkatesa’ are high since it promises clean family entertainment. Achanta Gopichand, Anil Sunkara and Achanta Ram are jointly producing this film under ‘14 Reels Entertainment’ banner and it is being presented by Suresh Productions. The film is also the most expensive in Venkatesh's career; it has been made with a budget of around Rs.24.75 crores. Brahmanandam is doing a full length role in this film. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the film. The film will be released in January, 2010
