Say No To Telangana

As the Telangana episode reaching its climax, suddenly certain roles have started appearing on the screen from nowhere. Political leaders who have hitherto been silent on the Telangana demand are now making a hue and cry.

Take for instance, Malkajgiri MP Survey Satyanarayana, who had never joined the Telangana Congress MPs in highlighting the demand in Hyderabad or in Delhi.

On Thursday, Survey suddenly appeared before the media, demanding that the Centre should immediately announce Telangana without any delay.

The MP said he was anguished with the reports that the Centre was contemplating appointment of a second States Reorganisation Commission to look into the Telangana demand.

“It is better the Congress high command says it will not grant Telangana, rather than fooling around the people in the name of second SRC,” he said.
