Lt Gen Jog Is New Ota Commandant

Chennai: Lieutenant General SS Jog has assumed command of the Officers Training Academy here.

He was the Colonel General Staff of an Infantry division during the Kargil operations. A recipient of Sena Medal and the Vishishta Seva Medal, Lt Gen Jog has seen active counter- insurgency in Northeast as well, an official release said.

He was serving as the Provost Marshal of the Indian Army before being appointed Commandant of the OTA, it said.
