ROUDRAM Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 Hours after National Conference chief spokesman and uncle of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Mustafa Kamal, targeted New Delhi on Thursday for creating hurdles in the resolution of the Kashmir issue, his party president Farooq Abdullah asked him to resign immediately. Kamal was asked to quit as general secretary and chief spokesman of the party. Kamal recently blamed the Army for blasts in the Valley soon after Omar said AFSPA would soon go. On Thursday, addressing a party convention in Bandipore, he said it was not Pakistan but India which was delaying the resolution of the Kashmir dispute. Later, NC president and Union Minister Farooq Abdullah said in a statement that Kamal has been asked to quit for “making statements that are not in tandem with NC policies.
