Rejecting a call given by KCR and the Congress leaders like Jana Reddy, Damodhar Reddy etc, the Congress MPs and ministers belonging to the Telangana region have announced that they would not resign from their post. The Congress MPs and Ministers released a joint statement that the Congress Party would work on achieving a consensus and such resignations would only cripple the life and the business opportunities in Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh.

This stand by the MPs and the ministers would surely come as a blow to KCR as he announced just a few hours back along with Jana Reddy of Congress that all the Congress leaders from Telangana would resign from their posts.

KCR and the TRS party has called for a 48 hour bandh in the Telangana region.
