surendra babu came as commissioner directly by orders from CBN... no transfer nothing for that period... he came on special orders.. so he doesnt have any political head aches or pressures... he worked independently... encountered 2 r 3 powerful rowdies.. still one case is going on him in supreme court.... he was so much attached to city that when he was about to leave vja after his tenure, people staged a huge dharna to re appoint him to the same city... he went to duty in mafti at nights without knowing to anybody and checks whther the cops are working good are not... he takes action quickly ainst any incidents liek that.. so he became that much popular.. and even he is good oficer....
