[b]Panjaa movie of Pawan Kalyan expectations has reached peak levels with the help of the promotional activities by the movie unit. The censor talk about Panjaa movie is also very positive and huge openings are expected for the movie.[/b]


[b]Story : Movie Starts off From Pawan Kalyan’s childhood. He is Happy with his Family. He gets disturbed as few goons kill his family and make him an orphan.[/b]
[b]When he is in Depression He meets Jackie Shroff, who gives him support and also a gun to survive, and also names him as ‘Robert’.[/b]
[b]Now Robert grows up with vengeance in his heart and uses the gun given to him and builds a mafia empire in kolkatta.[/b]
[b]He becomes a rugged mafia leader and helps those who are helpless and robbed by more powerful people.[/b]


[b]In his action packed life, enters Sandhya (Sarah Jane Dias) and robert gets attracted towards her.[/b]
[b]Despite having a target in his mind and leading a risky lifestyle, robert couldn’t help himself from falling in love with sandhya. Even though he is in Love he Didnot Forget his aim[/b]
[b]Robert wants to finish off those goons who killed his family and he plans to do it alone himself.[/b]
[b]He thinks he wanna Do the Entire Operation Single For this, he re-enters his village with new name as ‘Jaidev’ and starts executing his plan.[/b]
[b]There he sees many Problems, First he Will Solve villagers Problems and There he meets local police, Paparayudu(Brahmanandam), who has very bad reputation in the village.[/b]
[b]How robert/jaidev changes paparayudu’s image and uses him to finish off the villains is the rest of the story, which should be watched only on big screen.[/b]

[b]Pawan Kalyan: Pawan Kalyan excelled both as mafia leader and lover.[/b]
[b]His rugged full beard look, body language, dialogue delivery are impressive.[/b]
[b]Especially in few scenes where his voice is used as narrative, he excels.[/b]
[b]It is feast for fans to see Pawan’s rocking performance.[/b]

[b]‘Power’ management.[/b]



[b]Sarah Jane Dias: [/b][b]She tried to look cute and romantic.[/b]
[b]Eventhough she lacks the look, she managed few good expressions, especially in songs and in few romantic shots.[/b]


[b]Anjali Lavania: She [/b][b]has very lesser role and is more of an item girl who has 1 song and a fight.[/b]


[b]Others: Jackie Shroff, Tanikella Bharani, Atul Kulkarni and Subbaraju were as usual but new villain Adivi Sesh was excellent.[/b]
[b]He showed varied expressions as a psycho villain and seems to have good future as a versatile actor on telugu screen.[/b]


[b]Comedians: Brahmanandam, Ali and Jhansi take care of the comedy part in second half and infact without brahmanandam, second half would be incomplete.[/b]
[b]Especially, Paparayudu song shot on him and pawan was hilarious and is highlight of this movie.[/b]


[b]Technical Brilliance : [/b]
[b]Direction: This is a directors movie and Vishnuvardhan excels in his work.[/b]
[b]His ideas can be seen through excellent cinematography of PS Vinod and art work of Sunil Babu.[/b]
[b]In all technical departments, Yuvan Shankar Raja’s background music and PS Vinod’s Cinematography: cinematography standout as excellent works.[/b]
[b]Editing: Editing by Sreekar Prasad is slick.[/b]
[b]Stunts: Stunts by Shyam Kaushal are thrilling, especially the climax fight.[/b]
[b]Dilaouges: Abburi Ravi’s dialogues are average and he doesnt use many oppurtunities in screenplay to showcase his talent.[/b]
[b]Screenplay: Rahul Koda’s screenplay is gripping, except for few minutes in the begining of second half.[/b]
[b]Vishnuvardhan has extracted best possible output from all his technicians in this movie.[/b]


[b]Production values of Sanghamitra Arts and Arka Media are rich.[/b]

Story:[/color][/b]
A good tale gone bad, the story is set on the backdrop of Kolkata and here lives Bhagawan (jackie) a dreaded don. He is protected by Jaidev (Pawan Kalyan), a sharp and agile henchman. On the other hand, Jaidev has got a nursery garden as well. His life takes a turn when he comes across Sandhya (sarah) and it is love for him. Meanwhile, Bhagawan's son Munna (adivi sesh) comes from abroad and he is arrogant, hyper emotional and impulsive. An incident occurs which leads to Munna killing Bhagawan's opponent Sampath's (sampath) son and that accidentally leads to Munna's death by Jaidev. Bhagawan wreaks revenge on Jai and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.

[b][color="#ff0000"]Presentation: [/color][/b]
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was appealing, the narrative was weak. The script was shoddily written and the screenplay was loose. Background score was not strong and only two songs were impressive. Cinematography was top notch. Editing was required during the second half. Costumes were natural and suited the moods while the art department was appealing. Pawan Kalyan has come up with a variety performance and his characterisation was not proper, Sarah Jane Dias looks okay, she must focus on putting some weight, Anjali was brief, Jackie Shroff was adequate, the real show stealer was Adivi Sesh, he was very good. Brahmi was below average. Ali was just okay. Atul Kulkarni and Sampath Raj were wasted. Subbaraju was standard. The others didn't have scope.

[b][color="#ff0000"]Conclusion: [/color][/b]
With the kind of names involved, the film came in with a lot of hype and expectations but then it is better not to have any. While the first half goes about monotonously, the second half gets sluggish and lacks depth. The film is good on technical aspects but content and narrative wise, it was really bad. At the box office, the openings will be good due to the hype and Pawan Kalyan factor but success is very difficult.
