2 types of account untayi.. NRe/NRO

NRE lo you can deposit money earned in India... but the interest earned is taxable... and the money is not for repatriation
NRO ante you can only deposit money earned in foreign countries .. interest is non taxable and money can be taken back to US

legally u should only open a NRE/NRO account now.. u cannot open a regular account because you are NRI

let me put it this way.. NRE lo ekkada amount aina vayochu... kaani interest meeda tax vestadu

NRO lo aite only foreign earned money veyyali.... NRO lo unna mony ni with out RBI approval.. you can convert it back to USD
