**** YSR RAISED THE TELANGANA MOVEMENT AFTER 1999 DEFEAT****

Yesterday , Jayaprakash Narayan of Loksatta made some sensational statements, that cleared the speculation I had about the Telangana statehood deamand.

After the birth of Telugu Desam Party in Andhra pradesh, Congress party was having nightmares to come into power and sent quivers to the AICC in Delhi. In between 1985 to 2004 , it could only come into power for 4 years, from 1990-1994, that too with a slender majority.

In 1999, Sonia Gandhi became the president of the Congress party, In AP, congress party was led by YSR , YSR promised to bring Congress into power in 1999 elections, but he failed miserably. This led to hatch some master plans and conspiracies to weaken TDP, colluded by YSR, Sonia and Coverts of TDP (KCR). YSR was always sure that it will never happen , but he wanted to raise it for backdoor political gains

The plan is to rake up the Telangana statehood demand, so that the central Govt and state Govt will be under pressure to resolve it. Both the NDA at centre and TDP at state were allies at that time. YSR was more than succesfful in this covert operation. The plan is similar to the today's conspiracy of Mayawati in UP, which is opposed by BJP, Congress etc.

All the Congress MLAs were given directions to take this sentiment into people and accuse the TDP. While this is at helm of affairs, BJP has decided to grant statehood for Jharkand, Uttarakhand, Chattisgad. After these new states, Telangana demand has further gripped the people of Telangana.

As this was going on, The state Govt, led by CBN has decided for cabinet expanasion in which KCR was a minister, CB Naidu has decided to oust KCR and give his ministerial post to the first time MLA ,Vijaya Rama RAo (Ex-CBI Director) in their velama quota, primarily because KCR was accused of huge corruption and he wanted to do experiment with new comers with a good reputation(CBN told this in an interview)

Outraged by this and to encash the T-State Sentiment, KCR has flouted TRS , taking away a chunk of TDP cadre in Telangana. Apparently, KCR consulted Sonia, YSR before coming up with the party, so that they have an understanding at both centre and state. Soon, the general elections of State came in 2004, as expected TRS and Congress have formed an alliance and contested, TRS won as many ass 25 seats in Telangana, which otherwise would have gone into TDP's kitty.

BUT NEITHER YSR NOR SONIA , have never bothered to declare the state hood, despite being in power for 8 years, both in centre and state. Besides this, YSR and Sonia have always kept the issue at bay and completely ignored this demand. YSR systematically pulled many TRS MLAs towards congress ( as many as 12 defunct-ed) and 3 MPs too. After YSR passed away, things backfired for Congress. However the T-Demand, further penetrated deep into the people.


NOW ,the rest is history, How the delay in Telangana statehood , , screwed the prospects of the state, killed Hyderabad's investments, 700 Emotional deaths, property damage etc.

So, this just a small drop in the ocean, How YSR screwed the state of Andhra Pradesh. Like a Rakashas in Lanka ,YSR in AP. This is a proof that YSR scooped to any extent to gain politically.
