Do you know under whose government farmers got pesticides and other farming equipment that was good and tested for lower subsidies? do you know who implemented the RAITHU BAZAAR concept after NTR ? Do you know who gave 0.25 % loans to farmers? do you know who gave 90% subsidy to farmers who used DRIP IRRIGATION? Do you know who provided E-SEVA services in VILLAGES to farmers for guidance regarding water storage,usage, alternative farming methods etc? Dont think that farmers voted against CBn and that's why he lost. It is the Government office bearers and workers union who could not withstand the sincerity and strict rules being implemented under CBN's tenure. ACB was very strict and there was no scope for bribe or corruption. Also pending files had to be moved quickly and officers had to be in offices on time. They did not like it. HENCE , it is those unions that defeated CBN. Also there were no RAINS during CBN;S tenure. 70% of INDIAN AGRICULTURE is dependant on rains.

The vote bank of TDP remained intact except for LSPs cashing in. the voting % difference was less than 2% between congress and TDP. It was because of PRP's entry and LSP's dent into TDPs vote bank by 1.6% , that it lost in 2009.





Whatever maybe the intentions or plans of opposition, does the MOTION change? how can you question intentions when the MOTION itself was proposed? How can we think that JP's intentions are genuine? Does he know head and tail of farmers issues in rural areas? Has he toured the entire state atleast once to understand their difficulties?

NO: 2. EVMs were FIRST proposed by CBN. However, the functionality / malfunctioning of the equipment came into light only after the elections. CBN and other TECHNICAL people have demonstrated in PUBLIC how the EVM's can be fraudulent. CBN was not against EVMs, however he was against faulty equipment . He wanted those machines to be calibrated and verified with some good trustworthy standards .





How can supporting the No-confidence motion be equivalent to supporting to CBN? U r talking about races and bettings. Well, if not in 2012 can LSP contest and win more seats than TDP in 2014? If it is a losing horse, then why even take part in the race? Why should Jp expect people like you and me to bet on a losing horse like him?

"Lok Satta Party president Dr Jayaprakash Narayan has joined the voice of former Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on the fee reimbursement issue, demanding that the government honor its commitments to poor students pursuing higher education.
He told the media on Wednesday that it was the Lok Satta Party which had incorporated irrevocable guarantees on education and social security in its 50-point election manifesto. “No student irrespective of his caste or religion should be denied an opportunity to pursue higher education provided he or she is desirous and deserving. We also advocated institution of a program to help the poor people stand on their own feet through financial assistance and earn pension through a contributory scheme,” he said.
[b]He pointed out that the fee reimbursement and abhaya hastam schemes ushered in by late Chief Minister Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy were in tune with the Lok Satta manifesto. The Government which rode to power on such promises should not go back on them now, JP said.[/b]
He further pointed out that provision of educational opportunities was essential but not enough. “Today, there are tens of thousands of educated unemployed in the State. They should be imparted job-oriented skills and provided livelihood opportunities. Imparting skills to a million people for periods ranging from three months to a year would not cost more than Rs.2500 crore a year. The Government would earn Rs.3000 crore to Rs. 4000 crore by way of revenue once the trained youth boost manufacturing by Rs.25000 crore after landing jobs,” he suggested."
