In yet another incident of provocation by China, defence ministry sources told TIMES NOW that the Peopleรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs Liberation Army (PLA) attempted to demolish a 200 feet wall built 250 metres in Indian Territory in Yangtze area of Tawang.

According to sources, the Indian army attempted to resist this move, which is said to have happened a few months ago. The wall was partially damaged and has now been repaired, added sources.

During a subsequent flag meeting between local commanders, India is said to have lodged a strong protest over the incident.

This revelation comes a day after TIMES NOW reported that China is going ahead with its construction plans despite India halting construction work in Demchok area after the Chinese objected to it.

Reacting to these reports Union Minister and National Conference patron Farooq Abdullah dismissed threats of China invading India saying that the Prime Minister has already given an assurance over the same.

He added that Indian borders are strong and China has its own compulsions.

He said, "China is not going to invade us. PM has already declared that. We have got our own compulsions. China has got its own compulsions. Our borders are strong."

Meanwhile, the people of Demchok are now protesting against the new bunkers being built by the Chinese, they say they fear that China may one day threaten them to flee from the area.
