Lata Mangeshkar enno non commercial and non film songs kooda paadindhi...like ghazals etc. Same with MS Subbulakshmi, aavida enno carnatic paatalu paadaru.. So their singing helped in the spreading of our culture. Whereas cricket by no means helps in spreading anything that represents India.
