PMREDDY19 Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 @ Achilles :: VMs ni external Server nundi access cheyyadam anedhi very common . as I use the VMs for both the app server & Web server:: But I am confused after looking at the answers which is talking about the Reverse fr ox y .. My understanding is that , DNS needs an IP address.. The IP address is a VIP if the DNS is accessed outside the Network. SO DNS mapping to a VIP. THE VIP port 80/443 maps to the VM server within the Netwrok and your Netwrok security team opens up some specific ports on the Server to make a connection to the VIP which is allowing the Traffic from the outside network This is what I am implementing in my current projects.. Ikkada Reverse fro xy concept ni a part ki link cheyyacho naaku samaj kaaledhu..
