Rajanna which is a historical drama is directed by vijayendra Prasad father of ace director Rajamouli. Nagarjuna did the title character and won critical acclaim for this movie. His recent outing gaganam also did the same and won positive feedback from critics.


Plot of the story:

Story revolves around a poor girl Mallamma. This character is done by Annie. Mallamma is an orphan girl who will be brought up by an old man. Mallama is a good singer. One day Mallama is taken to the dorasani by her care taker to seek help for her education.

Dorasani played by Swetha menon is furious about her singing skills and warns her to stop her singing. She threats that she will kill her. But the poor girl can’t stop her passion and accidentally sings. Knowing this, dorasani kills the old man and set Mallamma house in to fire. She escapes with the help of Nassar.

Knowing about that prime minister of india can solve her problems she decides to meet PM of india and leaves for delhi. There dorasani men attacks the girl and finally Mallamma decided to end her life. Meanwhile, she came to know about the life of Rajanna and inspires herself to face her problems.
