Ordinary YouTubers are restricted to a little over 10 minutes per

video. You'll need to either be a partner (so you'll have to upload

lots of videos which don't break the rules and are quite popular, and

then apply) or have some other form of branded channel (which cost

tens of thousands of dollars).

if you are, say, a film student or an

independent producer, you might be able to persuade YouTube to let you

have a partner account.

Then you have to make sure you have the rights to every last second of

your video, which can be an expensive and time-consuming business if

you've used a lot of music and sound effects. Everything must be

properly licenced and you may need to be prepared to provide proof of

this.

Also make sure you have the express permission of all the actors, and

of anyone else who may have some claim on it (for example, the

director).
