'ఓం శాంతి ఓం' చిత్రంలో దీపిక పడుకునే నటనను చూసి ముగ్దులైన వీరిరువురూ ఆమెను కలుసుకోవాలని అనుకోవడంతో ప్రధాని కార్యాలయం నుంచి దీపికకు ఆహ్వానం వెళ్లింది. గోవాలో జరుగుతున్న అశుతోష్ గోవారికర్ 'ఖేలేంగె హమ్ జీ జాన్ సే' చిత్రం షూటింగ్ లో పాల్గొంటున్న దీపిక ఈ ఆహ్వానం అందుకున్న వెంటనే ఒకరోజు విరామం తీసుకుని డిన్నర్ లో పాల్గొంది. ఇలాంటి అకేషన్ కు తనకు ఆహ్వానం అందడం అరుదైన గౌరవంగా భావిస్తున్నట్టు దీపిక పేర్కొంది. ఈ ఈవెంట్ కోసం ఆమె మనీష్ మల్హోత్రా డిజైన్ చేసిన చీరను ధరించారు.
