Andhra Pradesh Marriage culture is considered as one of the most respectable marriage culture in the world. People from Andhra Pradesh believe the statement "Marriages are made in heaven" and hence astrology plays a major role in Telugu marriage system. Bachelors are rushing towards Marriage beuros and are trying to fix up the marriage for Sankranthi.

The very low ratio of male - female gender and the urge to get the best partner is making the bachelors in AP more tensed. Presently females are equally competing with men in work culture and the women work culture has been increased in the past few decades which is reducing marriage proposals. Most of the youngsters are voting for love marriages rather than arranged marriage but majority of the love marriages in Andhra Pradesh are ending up with divorce. Thorough survey revealed that arranged marriages are the most proffered type in Andhra Pradesh.

Most tension applying aspect for Bachelors is that there is no muhurthas for the next 10 months from March. Hence youngsters are hurrying up to select the partner and tie the knot before March.
