Cough Is Killing At Night .. Any Advice

I'm having cough from 12am - 8am since 1 week. I have tried medicine but it is not helping me at all. My night sleep is shortned due to cough which is showing impact on my day schedule . . I have caught cold and cough at the same time where as the cold is reduced with medicine but cough didn't
