Lets look at some numbers first, before we start giving our opinions.. These are the [b]overseas[/b] batting records over the last 2 yrs..from 1st Jan 2010 to recently concluded Perth test.

VVS - 1 vs Sri Lanka
Sehwag - 2 vs Sri Lanka

Looking at these numbers, Sachin and RD have done well in hostile conditions..Sachin scoring 2 100s vs SA and RD scoring 3 vs England. The rest have all scored heavily on spin friendly pitches in the subcontinent.
Only 100s ee enduku chustunnav ani adagachu, but test cricket lo 100s are a good way to measure the consistency and performance of a player, unless they are getting those frequent 80s and 90s. In this case, it is obvious that

On a serious note...none of these 4 should be "dropped" unless the top 3 decides to "retire" by themselves...sehwag gadu undali...vadu aadina aadakapoyina he runs shivers down the bowlers spines....the best thing we can do is make gambhir play in lower middle order and get a solid classical test opener who can act as a shine remover
