Sorry to hear that. Nways here's what you can do.

If you are guilty:

1. Generally these girls do this for money. Especially with Indians. ( We fear a lot )

2. As Psycopk mentioned try to solve the case outside.

3. Mediation is one method of settling out of court and requires both parties to agree to mediate and agree on who will act as the mediator. Look for mediators in the Yellow Pages under "Attorneys - Mediation." Some serve as mediators free, while others charge a small fee - be sure to ask! Some Courts may offer dispute resolution through a mediator at no cost so be sure to call the court clerk and ask before committing to another mediator.

4. If you reach an out of court agreement, put it in writing and make sure it's signed by the plaintiff and yourself and approved by the judge. File the agreement in court BEFORE the trial date.

In case if you decide to fight in court

5. Decide if you need an attorney. Also retain a lawyer if you cannot afford to lose your case, have trouble understanding the complexities of your case, or may need to appeal the verdict.  Be aware that some crimes that impose only small fines or prison sentences may have severe longer term consequences like harder time finding employment and housing. If you are a male charged with rape, consider a female attorney.

6. An attorney can often arrange for deferred adjudication, which upon completion of probation, will prevent a conviction from going on your record. This does not mean that there is no record of the arrest. Although deferred adjudication is not a conviction, employers, lenders, insurers, and others who might perform a criminal background check may treat it as one.

7.You need to have YOUR witnesses in court. Make sure they are subpeonaed!
Someone may say they will show up, a subpeona will insure they will. If they don't, when the judge asks if you are ready to proceed, say "No, my witness who was served a subpeona is not here. I request that the court compell attendance." If you have an attorney, he should do this. Do not refer to this person as your "friend", unless you are asked. If you have not served your witness with a subpeona, tough luck!

8.Write down all the important facts of your case in chronological order. This helps you prepare and ensures that during the hearing you do not forget anything. Remember, the judge is extremely busy and expects you to be prepared to present your case as quickly and clearly as possible.

9.Be prepared to answer uncomfortable questions. Your attorney should have deposed you (questioned) you before you go to trial. If the case is simple, he may do so in the lobby. If it is a severe criminal case, he will do this well before hand. Part of his deposing you should include asking those uncomfortable questions. You need to be ready to answer them, without being fluttered. It will often make the difference in being believed or not!

10.Appear in court well dressed. Wear a conservative suit with a solid white or light blue shirt and a tie. Wear you hair neat, and in a conservative style. You want the judge or jury to believe you.

11.If you have physical evidence,(Tapes from Subway) do not damage or tamper with it. Give it to your attorney or bring it to court. Bring supporting pictures, if you have them. Bring all documents pertaining to the case.Throughout the hearing, remain polite, do not interrupt the other party or the judge and especially do not get angry or show a temper to the court.

12. My advise Hire an attorney

People who defend themselves never win. They are unprepared to object when proper, cross examine witnesses, etc. The old saying is, "An attorney who defends himself has a fool for a client." If it is true for attorneys, why would you do any better?

Good luck.
