H1B Info - Please Help

My opt extenstion period is going to end on 10th March 2012. I applied for H1 along with client letter in september, but till now my application status is still in initial review state.

could some one please advice me what I need to do now. I'm in confused state whether to apply for premium process or just wait. I got to know that we can work upto 180 days if my status expires. But, I don't know whether it starts fom the day I applied or from 10th march.

Please help me I some one knows any information on this.

Who said that u can work for 180 Days..if ur status expires....thats wrong info....

u can work for 180 Days on OPT extension..if and only if u have applied for ur H1 before the expiry of OPT...note that point...

and suggestion for u is better start looking for some school...or join a course from MArch..and apply for H1 in April again......and u cannot work until October 1st...so keep continuing the course until OCtober..u will be in status..

Bossu i would recommend you not to worry. If you don't have a query till now then i believe that there is no problem to you H1b petition. But if your company through which you applied is e-verified i would recommend go ahead and apply for extension. as it wouldn't harm you to get OPT extension.
