Actress Poonam Bajwa, who was unseen in Tollywood circuit since last summer, was in the city two days back for an event launch at Panjagutta. Speaking to media post-launch, the Punjabi girl said that she has taken the long break, as she didn't find a suitable role for me. I have listened to many scripts, but none impressed me, she added.

When asked, whether she is will do the item numbers, the actress said that she is open to item numbers. I want to do item numbers provided they are meaningful and hold relevance to a film's story, said Poonam. Hope this news reaches the right ears.
