'Magadheera' Singer To Rock USA

After the huge success of the song Panchadara Bomma, singer Anuj Gurwara will tour the United States of America for about a month, starting January 2010, with reputed playback singers, Kousalya and Ravi Verma. Sponsored by the Telugu Association of North America (TANA), they will be performing in various cities like Dallas, Washington DC and Bay Area for the Sankranthi festival which is celebrated with much fanfare in the Telugu community in North America.

Anuj Gurwara achieved much success with his debut song from the blockbuster film, Magadheera, under the music direction of Mr MM Keeravani.

* Won the award for the Best Playback Singer of 2009, from Radio City 91.1fm which recently conducted the Radio City Music Awards.

* The song also won the award for the Best Song of 2009.

* Panchadara Bomma was also voted Big Song of the Year 2009 by Big 92.7fm by the listeners of the radio station. The song had a lead of over 4000 votes!!

* Panchadara Bomma was declared No.1 Song of the Year 2009 by Radio Mirchi 98.3fm. The song topped a list of the Top 100 songs of the Year.
