Estory - 1 : Phone Talking

Hi,
I have a question. I just want to make sure I am not thinking wierd or anything.

Does your husbands talk in secrecy (meaning in a separate room/floor) on phone while talking to his parents/siblings?

My DH always goes away from the room/floor whenever he has to talk to his parents/brother. Yesterday also when his brother called him, he simply went to the bedroom in upstairs and closed the door. I felt bad and asked him why he did that. He turned it on me saying I am thinking wierd and questioning all his actions. I don't know what they were talking about and I didn't even asked him what he was talking about, but all I asked him was "why can't you talk in front of me, or atleast sit in an adjacent room and talk, if you don't want to disturb me watching TV"

It have always been the case. We are married for 3.5 yrs and have a 18 months old. Whenever I talk to anyone, I simply sit and talk in the same room or move to an adjacent room if he is watching TV. There is simply no secrets. But his entire family is like that. When his parents were with us for 6 months, they did the same thing. They will be talking with my DH about something and the moment I enter the room ,they will stop talking. Not once or twice. Every single time.

Is something wrong with me? Doesn't it bother a wife if her DH keeps doing this?

fone lo evadito naian matladite....na to evvaru undakudadu anukunta.....so may be vadiki ade alavatu ayi utnadi..

but oka sari a ammai to septe baguntadi.....so that she will not get such improper assumptions....
