"I Want Both Telangana & YS Jagan"

Congress MLA and ex Minister Konda Surekha has announced today that she would not forgo her association with YS Jagan nor would she forgo her demand for separate Telangana.

She was clearly miffed at the yesterday's incident when the Telangana activists threw shoes and slippers when she was addressing a Telangana forum. The Telangana activists demanded that she should choose between Telangana and YS Jagan. They wondered how could she demand separate Telangana and also keep her association with YS Jagan intact who incidentally is against the bifurcation of the Andhra pradesh.

Clarifying her stand, she said that there is nothing wrong in demanding separate Telangana. She said her assocaition with YS Jagan has nothing to do with the Telangana statehood.

She reminded how the late CM YSR helped the poor in the Telangana region. She said that the activists who threw the slippers on her were infact TRS activists who are ruthless people and do not know how to respect a woman. She wondered whether they have any mothers and sisters at their homes.
