Apart from being highest budgeted film in Venkatesh’s career, the price being quoted for the rights in various regions is a new record in Venky’s career. The latest news is that record number of prints will be shipped to Nellore and Vizag. 16 prints of ‘Namo Venkatesa’ will be shipped to Nellore and Vizag will have a total number of 29 prints of this film. This is a new record in Venky’s career. Earlier there was a buzz that distribution rights for Vizag have been sold for Rs.1.80 crores and for Nellore the rights were sold for Rs.88 lakhs. Srinu Vytla is directingthis film. Brahmanandam plays a full length role in the film and the buzz is that it’s one of the best comic roles he has ever played. This is Venkatesh and Trisha’s second film together after ‘Adavari Matalaki Ardhale Verule’. Achanta Gopichand, Anil Sunkara and Achanta Ram are jointly producingthis film and it is being presented by Suresh Productions under ‘14 Reels’ banner. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the film. Ramjoggaiah Sastry wrote the lyrics. The film has been shot in lush landscape of Europe and Iceland. The film is gearing up for its release on Sankranthi.
