[b]Position[/b]: Lead / Senior Systems Engineer
[b]Location[/b]: San Francisco, CA
[b]Duration:[/b] Long Term

[b]Only US Citizens, EAD and Green Card Holders are eligible[/b]

[b]Responsibilities:[/b]
• Lead the design and implementation of improvements to Medrio’s production hosting infrastructure and
operations to improve availability, scalability and manageability.
• Develop internal tools and systems to automate application and systems management
• Work with others administrators, developers and test team members to plan, document and implement changes
to Medrio’s systems in development and production.
• Develop processes for change management, monitoring / alerting and systems performance management.
• Support the development team in troubleshooting issues that arise from systems issues.

[b]Required Qualifications:[/b]
• 7+ years of relevant post-academic work experience
• 5+ years of experience administering mission critical web hosting infrastructure
• 2+ years of experience developing web applications using the Microsoft .NET Framework (this is a development
position and you must be able to write clean code)
• 1+ years of experience writing scripts in either PowerShell or VBScript to automate systems operations
• Experience scaling web hosting infrastructure on the Microsoft platform (Windows Server 2008 R2 and SQL
Server 2008)
• Solid knowledge of network administration and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.)
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, network and software issues
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience

[b]Desired Qualifications:[/b]
• Experience managing hosting infrastructure for a scalable software as a service application
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Microsoft Hyper-V (preferred) or VMware
• Experience configuring and operating systems monitoring tools such as Systems Center Operations Manager.
• Design of highly available systems (Clustering, Load Balancers, Data Mirroring / Replication, etc.)
• Experience working in a regulated environment such as the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device
industries
