Let's say if the records in your table are updated once in a day who can choose the generica delta of type calender day .
You go for time stamp type generic delta when you want update the delta queue based on the time stamp but for this you need to have time stamp field in your table.
You can go for Numeric pointer type delta only when you enable delta based on document number, customer number etc...

You might also need to understand how the upper limit and lower limit settings works when you are creating generic extractor with generic delta.
